Shipping Policy

  • Standard domestic shipments are sent via USPS or UPS. Rates are calculated at checkout using USPS, but may be shipped using UPS. 

  • All shipments must be delivered to a street address.

  • Additional shipping charges will be incurred for any returned shipments which must be resent to a valid address.

  • Refused or unclaimed packages are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of merchandise total plus 100% of the shipping charge.

Other shipping methods may be requested if necessary, additional charges may apply. Contact us before completing your order if you wish to make any special shipping arrangements.

Shipping Rates (Domestic Shipping Only, International coming soon)

By default our shopping cart will allow you to select various shipping speeds from USPS only for domestic shipping withing the Continental United States. The rates are determined based on the package size and weight of your order using live rate calculators provided by USPS.

 

You are always able to see the shipping charge prior to purchase by using our Shipping Calculator on the Basket Page of our site.  

  • Place all the items you want into the online shopping cart... this allows the cart to calculate the weight and dimensions of your package.

  • Click the "Estimate Shipping" button on the shopping cart page.

  • Fill in the Shipping State, Zip Code and Country.

  • Click "Estimate" - you will see all the available shipping speeds to your location and their prices.

Where's My Stuff?

Unfortunately, sometimes after a package leaves our hands it can be delayed, mis-routed, damaged, or, on rare occasion, cannot be found by the shipping carrier.

Should this occur, we are here to help you deal with these unfortunate situations as quickly and efficiently as possible.

My Package Tracking Says that it's Been Delivered, But I Have Not Reveived It

Here's what to do if your package shows as delivered, but you can't find it:

  • Verify the shipping address from your order; check for typos.

  • Look for a notice of attempted delivery on or near your door.

  • Check if the package was left with a family member or housemate.

  • Check if the package was left with a neighbor or neighboring business.

  • Check if the package was left on a back porch, behind a screen door, or in a mailbox.

If none of these steps result in finding your package:

  • First, contact your local post office so you can speak with the mail carrier who delivered your package to get further information

  • Second, if the carrier is unable to help you locate the package, you will need to contact the police to report the theft of the package

  • We can help you by providing any information you need to initiate a claim or file a police report, but Playa Wear cannot be held responsible for stolen or lost packages

In a nut shell...

  • Customer takes full responsibility for the items we ship. We cannot be held responsible for any lost packages once they have entered the postal system.

  • In the event that your shipment is lost or is not delivered for any reason, we will assist you in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.

  • We are unable to financially reimburse you for the loss, or ship replacement merchandise should USPS postal system reject your claim. 

Delayed Packages

Sometimes package deliveries are delayed from their estimated delivery date, which is unfortunately beyond our control. If you need a "Date Definite Guarantee" please contact us, as only certain carriers are able to offer that service. If your order is substantially delayed please contact us and we will initiate a trace or claim with the carrier to help you locate your package.
